My sister Sammi also likes to bake, though as someone who is interested in nutrition, she often makes substitutions that I think are kinda unsatisfying.  Not so these brownies, which are just as bad for you as they ought to be.

Ingredients

1 1/3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
1 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

Okay, yes, she didn’t leave any instructions.  So I’m going to guess that you sift the dry ingredients, cream the dry mixture with the butter, mix in the eggs and vanilla.  Then lightly grease an 8″ baking pan, preheat the oven to 350F, and bake the brownies for 25 min.  Stick a knife in; if it comes out clean, they’re done; if not, throw them back in the oven and check periodically.  It’s baking, not rocket science; I’m sure you’ll do just fine.

Seriously, next time I make them I’ll take notes and update this recipe!
